BLACK TAG PROGRAM

The black tag program is a verification tag program that is affixed to components in the field. The monitoring inspectors are required to return the black tag to supervision verifying they were at the component. The black tag program has a minimum frequency of once per quarter per technician.

HIDDEN TAG PROGRAM

The hidden tag program is a program where supervision removes a random tag from the technician’s route. The inspector should note the tag and report back to supervision. The hidden tag program has a minimum frequency of once per quarter per technician.

GHOST TAG PROGRAM

The ghost tag program adds a random record to the database to test the technician awareness of the route being monitored. The technician should report the component back to supervision as a ghost tag. The ghost tag program has a minimum frequency of once per quarter per technician.

SHADOW MONITORING

Supervision will take a technicians route from the previous day and recreate a percentage of the route making sure the route was inspected correctly. Items such as leaks, tag maintenance and inspection times will be compared. The shadow monitoring program has a minimum frequency of once per quarter per technician.

METHOD 21 OBSERVATIONS

Supervision will perform a Method 21 field observation on inspectors as they monitor their route. Proper Method 21 techniques and knowledge will be observed. The Method 21 observation program has a minimum frequency of once per month per technician.

CALIBRATION AUDIT

All calibrations maintained electronically and audited weekly under AEM policy.

C.A.R.S. PROGRAM

AEM’s Excel based data mining tools assist in analyzing performance on a scheduled basis. Each tool aims to improve the efficiency of processing data through the means of computer software. Each tool produces results in a matter of seconds in an organized and intuitive manner while ensuring all data sets have not been overlooked or missed. Weekly or monthly run data is compiled to assess strengths and weaknesses of a program on an ongoing basis and during AEM internal audits.

DWELL TIME TOOL

Used to view the raw inspection history data in an organized manner while also having a detailed analysis of elevated readings, minimum inspection times, percentage and seconds differentials, time between components and leak rates. The user will get a macro view of analytics within a concise table broken down by technician and for an entire project site. Each monitoring event is cross referenced with AEM minimum inspection time standards resulting in quantifiable efficient areas and areas of improvement.

PRODUCTIVITY TOOL

Used to produce a summary page of each technician’s first and last inspection times, total components monitored per day, lunch start, end, and duration times, time on tools, average components per hour of time on tools, and total breaks and break times per day. Each site has set requirements implemented into their tool to help track when team members may deviate from their defined schedules.
